Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were a Russian and Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German TV, changed her into a Russian dancer and snow maiden. She graduated from high school and earned a bachelor's degree in English from New York. Following high school, she attended classes in acting at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. At the age of 13, her parents split up. Her father moved the household to East Meadow New York. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. Her other roles included recurring ones in The Following on Fox, The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
